Sarah Thompson-Engels is a self-employed artist who lives and works in Somerset.
Her large-scale paintings and prints celebrate the colour, form and seductiveness of edibles and botanicals, real and imagined.Her work is sold throughout the UK and overseas and also published as book covers and editorial illustrations (seen below)
Sarah's paintings decorate the walls of many private homes and restaurants
and she regularly takes part in Somerset Open Studios.

Sarah has sold a Lobster painting to Alan Lamb the cricketer.
She has had a self portrait exhibited at the Royal Academy
Her chilli pepper print was sold to a member of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Her cupcake design was used for the programme for Alice In Wonderland at the
Geneva Opera House and Sarah's fruit and vegetable canvases were bought
by William Sitwell the writer and food critic for his supper club and hotel
